Recipe: Swamp Bowl

This is a delicious, nutrient and calorie-dense meal that’s ideal post run or hard training session! Plant-based, paleo and raw!!! ☺

Feel free to modify the quantities depending on how many servings you want. This made 2 nice-sized servings, perfect after strenuous exercise.

  • 1/4 – 1/3 small hass avocado
  • ½ – 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup of kale
  • ½ cup of spinach
  • ½ teaspoon of organic moringa powder
  • 1 table spoon of organic spirulina powder
  • 1 heaped tablespoon of raw cacao powder
  • 1 serving of organic, chocolate flavour plant based protein powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of almond butter
  • ¼ tea spoon of turmeric
  • Small knob of ginger
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of milled flaxseed

Blend it all up in a high speed blender!

Top with the following:

  • Frozen berries (ideal to cool you down after training!)
  • Chia seeds
  • Cashews
  • Almonds
